What started as a passion for reading, sharing recommendations, and connecting with fellow book lovers grew into the dream of creating a cozy online indie bookstore where every reader feels at home.

Bloom & Spine Co. was built from a genuine place of love and dreams. Meet the Founder
Steff
Hi. I am Stephanie Torres but known as Steff (AKA bookishlysteff on instagram) in the book world and to my family and closest friends.
I was born in Queens, NY, but I’ve called Miami home since a few months old. I am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, a proud fur mama (she literally is my world), and my husband and I are on the beautiful journey to grow our family through adoption. During the day, I work full-time in healthcare as a Nuclear Medicine Clinical Specialist, and outside of work, I also work closely with authors as a PA and provide a variety of different author services. I have also launched my own bookish PR page with my business partner, Bianca.
Books have always been my escape. I love everything about romance novels, especially cowboy, sports, and dark romances. I just love the kind of stories that leave you kicking your feet from happiness and screaming for more. If there’s tension and banter, then I’m most likely already obsessed and making it a part of my whole personality. I read thrillers as palette cleansers.
When I’m not working or reading, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family and friends, soaking up that Florida sun at the beach or pool, at Disney because I am a Disney girl, and planning content, trips, and anything for my book clubs.
